Hva er problematisk med læren til Jesu Kristi Kirke av Siste Dagers Hellige (JKKASDH)? Hvorfor stemmer ikke deres egne skrifter med hverandre? Hvorfor viser historien at profetene ikke levde som Jesu disipler? Det er ikke meningen å henge ut noen individer på noen måte, bare vise hva organisasjons lære er (uansett om du er enig eller ikke) og litt om historien. Det er ikke lett å være helt oppdatert på hva Organisasjonen mener og endrer, men det legges frem kilder.
Ta deg tid til å slå opp på Bibelsteder og i skriftene som er henvist til, ikke nøl med å sende en beskjed hvis du lurer på noe!

1. David Whitmer, en av de tre vitnene, forteller hvordan oversettelsesprosessen foregikk:
"I will now give you a description of the manner in which the Book of Mormon was translated. Joseph Smith would put the seer stone into a hat, and put his face in the hat, drawing it closely around his face to exclude the light; and in the darkness the spiritual light would shine. A piece of something resembling parchment would appear, and on that appeared the writing. One character at a time would appear, and under it was the interpretation in English. Brother Joseph would read off the English to Oliver Cowdery, who was his principal scribe, and when it was written down and repeated to Brother Joseph to see if it was correct, then it would disappear, and another character with the interpretation would appear. Thus the Book of Mormon was translated by the gift and power of God, and not by any power of man." (An Address To All Believers In Christ, David Whitmer, Richmond, Missouri, 1887, side 12).
2. Hvordan klarte Nephi med noen få menn å bygge et tempel som var likt Salomos tempel? Salomon trengte 163,300 menn og 7 år. (1 Kong. 5, 13-18 og 2 Nephi 5, 15-17).
3. Mormons bok sier at de dyrket hvete (Mosiah 9, 9), hadde hester (1 Nephi 18, 25), stridsvogner/vogner (Alma 18,9-11 og 20, 6 og 3 Nephi 3, 22), kuer (1 Nephi 18, 25), elefanter (Ether 9, 19), silke (Alma 1, 29 og 4, 6, Nephi 9, 17), lin (Mosiah 10, 5 og Helaman 6, 13 og Ether 10, 24), penger av gull og sølv (Alma 11, 3-20) og stål (2 Nephi 5, 15 og Jarom 1, 8 og Ether 7, 9). - hvordan kom dette hit, når det ikke kom før europeerne tok det med seg dit mange hundre år senere?
4. Det er ikke lagt fremarkeologiske bevis (av nøytrale historikere) for at det som fortelles i Mormons Bok har skjedd, det ville vel vært masse våpen og lik etter krigen der millioner døde (Ether 15,2)? Burde de ikke ha funnet mynter og hus/bygg som det står om i mormons bok? (Se her)
